KEN MONEY Financial education workshop - for small people and big people

This event has expired

KEN MONEY is a financial education workshop dedicated to both children and parents.

Will take place two workshops that will be held in parallel:

  • The children's workshop is dedicated to those between the ages of 7 and 11
  • The workshop for parents is dedicated to all those with children between 0 and 18 years old!

Money is a resource that children will work with throughout their lives, so the sooner they learn about it, what it is and how to manage it effectively, the better.

In addition, we live in a world where everything is in constant and rapid change: temptations call to us from all directions, promotional campaigns are omnipresent, credit cards lure us, shopping is just a click away, the child's desire to have the last model of "something" is always heard………… uffff!

So, in this workshop, children will tell and discover the fascinating world of money (what it is, how we earn it, how we use it, how we organize it).

But because the educational process is 20% information and 80% behavior, a workshop with parents - on how to approach the subject of money with the little ones, seems essential to us.

You, dear parent, are the first "specialist" who familiarizes the child with money and its importance!

The purpose of the workshops It is:

On children to help them develop their ability to make wise financial decisions and a healthy financial future.

 The topics covered will be:

  • what is money, how do we earn it, what do we use it for;
  • what are the functions of money: economy / spending / investment / donation;
  • to manage money as efficiently as possible, understanding that it is a limited resource;
  • the difference between need and want;
  • set financial goals and develop a savings plan

On the parents to help them with answers to the questions:

  • What is the representation that children have about money and what do we, the parents, convey to them?
  • How can we prepare our children to become financially responsible adults?
  • When to talk to children about money and what to say, depending on age?
  • What should be the key words to use when referring to money in its presence?
  • How do we (re)think our relationship with money?
  • What healthy habits can we nurture in children?
  • How can we encourage them to save?
  • How can we involve children in family activities to understand how money is earned and managed?
  • What are the biggest mistakes we can make with kids when it comes to spending money?

What do I recommend?Um:
