How was the KEN Academy summer camps? Even the children's parents tell us
KEN Academy camps are a great opportunity for small entrepreneurs to venture into nature and practice life skills.
Children love the game of "big people" ... and we, the parents, simply play, right?
Summer camps are the places where we gathered children's dreams and parents' wishes, interwoven and seasoned them with a lot of passion, joy and adventure.
The children take part in a week-long camp, rich in original, playful activities in nature.
Through fun and challenges, the team spirit of the little ones is developed and the confidence in their ability to give wings to their dreams and turn them into entrepreneurial projects.
Clean air, the beauty of nature, good will, healthy food are our friends in this entrepreneurial education camp through adventure.
Cum a fost în taberele de vară KEN Academy? Ne povestesc chiar părinții celor mici, care au fost de acord să ne răspundă la câteva întrebări.
1. What were the impressions after the camp? What did the child say?
Simona Trofin: He liked it, it felt good.
Ioana Luca: First of all, he said it was great, he liked everything, to do business, he made friends, he earned money that he carefully keeps.
Oana Raluca Olinici: THEA was so excited about everything that happened at the camp, the activities, the stories, what she learned, that she told stories for days on end, and the cat and the dolls became the students and she became the teacher of a play camp.
I HAVE: He told me very excitedly about all the experiences in the camp. He said he also wants it in the fall.
Lili Popa: God, what joy, what momentum. He said he liked the kids and learned a lot of new things. And that he wants to come back.
Alexandru Avramoi: As soon as he got home he started to tell us everything he learned there. How he worked in the business, how he made money. I've never seen her so involved.
Basil Gel: He liked it a lot. He wants to keep in touch with all the kids and start a business together.
2. What did you see changed in the child after the camp? What new skills have appeared? What new conversations have emerged?
Simona Trofin: I like that they fix business principles and concepts, gain courage to speak in public.
Ioana Luca: He is more careful about money and how he spends it. It increased his confidence and security.
Oana Raluca Olinici: First, she became more confident. Then she became aware of her power to face any challenge, she learned that work and perseverance make you strong, she learned that team and teamwork make activities easier, and dividing tasks makes work easier and reduces work time, so that results appear faster.
I HAVE: I feel him more involved. He always asks me what expenses we have when we go shopping and makes sure we stick to the list. I've never seen him like this before.
Lili Popa: Wow, watch him try to put everything he's learned into practice. Sometimes he also "corrects" us if he thinks we are doing something wrong.
Alexandru Avramoi: She communicates more, she's more open to telling us stories, talking about what she wants.
Basil Gel: I can tell he's less scared. He has more courage, he dares, he helps us more.
3. How was the communication with the trainers throughout the camp?
Simona Trofin: Very OK.
Ioana Luca: Very good, I felt I left them in good hands.
Oana Raluca Olinici: Oh, I would have a lot to say about this question, but I will only say one word: Wonderful!
I HAVE: Excellent. We felt we were there with them. I received photos and videos every day.
Lili Popa: Very good. Whenever I had questions, they were answered.
Alexandru Avramoi: It was very ok.
Basil Gel: I liked that I knew exactly what the children were doing every day, where they were, what they ate.
4. Why would you recommend other parents to enroll their children in KEN camps?
Simona Trofin: Because it is a smart camp where children learn practical concepts that they will use. And because you are very good and combine physical activities with theoretical ones.
Ioana Luca: For the future of the child, that you will get along better with him.
Oana Raluca Olinici: I would not only recommend Ken camps, but also Ken courses. First, preparing children for adulthood financially is more correctly positioned and explained than if it were done by parents. Then, combining these child training techniques with play techniques, projections, communications is exceptional. In addition, most children no longer have siblings at home, so at camp or in classes they learn to share, work together, be a team.
I HAVE: I think it really helps them develop some skills and get over their fears. Learn through play and play. They have more patience, they talk more with us, the parents.
Lili Popa: For all these beautiful relationships that are born again between children. They become a team, work together for a common goal. What could be more beautiful?
Alexandru Avramoi: Even though it seems like a simple summer camp, it is much more than that. It is a place where children develop their imagination, creativity and learn to think freely.
Basil Gel: For all the financial and entrepreneurial knowledge, for all the activities that prepare them for the future.
5. Would you re-enroll your child in the KEN Academy camp? Why?
Simona Trofin: Yes. See point 4 😀
Ioana Luca: Yes, let it be better and better and make it easier for him to understand things that we now understand.
Oana Raluca Olinici: Yes, anytime, as long as we stick to the schedule. Why? The answer can be seen in all Thea's pictures, in the joy with which she recounts all the events, in her new way of positioning.
I HAVE: Sure you do. Anytime. They are good training for life.
Lili Popa: Yes, of course. Because he learns to be independent, to think more and better.
Alexandru Avramoi: Surely. Because they learn to face their fears and overcome them.
Basil Gel: Yes. For all the experience of teamwork, friendship, entrepreneurial ideas.
