Why bring your child to KEN Academy?
Simple! Our program is dedicated to brave and entrepreneurial children aged between 8 and 13.
With us, your child will discover his superpowers and start the path to a bright future, in a society that is constantly changing.
KEN program it is structured for 9 months and comprises four modules of two months each, with a knowledge consolidation in the last month.
At KEN Academy, children develop harmoniously, always in the right direction.
To show you what this means, I created an analogy with planting and growing a fruit tree. Children are the seed that we plant and nurture so that they reach the step of the next stages of development.
Stage 1: "Root"
– we acquire a basic level of business knowledge: money, the business, income versus profit, the marketing mix: product, placement, price, promotion; planning and time management, etc.; |
Stage 2: "Sprout"
– we familiarize ourselves with the generic CANVAS business model and detail some of the elements: product/service, customers, customer relationship, distribution channel - we continue "Drumul Penului": RTC, Diverta; - we continue sales events and development of sales and negotiation skills; children move from intuitive to conscious selling; |
Stage 3: "Tree with flowers"
– we continue the CANVAS: key activities and resources, key partnerships; - we start the "Juice Road": Granini, Tibett Logistics, Caru' cu Bere; - we emphasize a set of Warren Buffett's business principles, such as: "Respect others to be respected!", "Follow the line of ethics and integrity!" etc; - children become "entrepreneurs" in planning and organizing their small businesses and sales events; |
Stage 4: "Tree with fruit"
- children are introduced to the area of financial skills: "investment sheet", "accounting sheet"; - we close the "Juice Road" with a visit to Billa; - we have invited "entrepreneurs" who share their own experiences; - the children prepare business proposals in mini project teams that they will support in front of their parents; |

Upon completion of the program, the child:
- will know how to organize and manage a business, but also a business as a whole;
- will understand the specifics of different business models: production, distribution, retail;
- you will know some dedicated business tools: CANVAS, the marketing mix: product, price, promotion, placement, etc.;
- will know more about what money is and how to manage it effectively;
- will have trained teamwork, sales and negotiation, presentation and public speaking skills;
- will develop planning skills and tools (money journal; 5W's);
- will learn to use the criteria grid to make decisions;
- will understand setting long-term goals (opportunity cost analysis);
- he will be exposed to the interaction with the market and thus develop his initiative and autonomy;
- will be able to plan and organize a mini business;
- will develop confidence in oneself, in one's own potential and dream.
What is the structure of the KEN ACADEMY program
The program is structured on three main components:
- theoretical sessions;
- visiting some companies and production spaces;
- marketing and sales actions.
Theoretical courses and company visits take place weekly, alternating depending on the objectives of the course. Both the theoretical sessions and the activities (visits to companies) have a duration of 60 minutes or 90 minutes.
Visits to companies are planned in the form of "roads", so that children can logically follow the flow of a product, which passes through several major "stations": production - distribution - retail. The visits are supported by our key partners: RTC, Diverta, Granini, Tibett Logistics, Billa Romania, City Grill, Caru'cuBere, Trattoria Buongiorno, CaImmo, BancaTransilvania, etc.
The marketing and sales session is prepared in advance by the children and coordinated by the KEN Academy trainers. The session consists of marketing activities and the assisted sale or promotion of various products, either of the children (prepared at home by them), or purchased in advance.
