KEN Academy launches the independent workshops of entrepreneurship and financial education for children "Purse with (more than) two money" in Cărtureşti Verona, every Saturday in May, respectively on May 5, 12, 19 and 26.
Nowadays, being financially educated is as important as taking care of your health.
We live in a world where everything is in constant and rapid change: temptations call to us from all directions, promotional campaigns are omnipresent, credit cards entice us, shopping is a click away, the child's desire to have the latest model of "something" is always heard.
What can we do? How can we prepare our children?
KEN Academy launches the "Bag (with more) of two money! – 4+1", four workshops in May where children learn through play a series of skills that will help them in everyday life: what money is, how we earn it, what we use it for and how we manage it wisely, why it's important to have a savings goal
And because information represents only 20% in the educational process, 80% being ensured by behaviors, the parent has a key role in this case as well.
Children watch their every move and tend to copy what adults do and not what they say. Therefore, the child cannot be taught what the parent does not know or does not apply, because he will observe and do what the parent does, not what he says.
Therefore, to create a complete learning experience, KEN Academy has also prepared a workshop for parents where they will learn how to help children understand more about money and managing it.
What will CHILDREN discover in the 4 workshops:
Workshop 1: What is money? (What is money and what can we do with it? What impact does it have in our daily lives? How do we organize it? Saving, spending, donating, investing.)
Workshop 2: What do I do with the money? (The work-money relationship. Are we meeting all our needs and wants? Why is it important to set a goal for saving? Where do we keep our money? What is the money circuit?)
Workshop 3: How do I budget for a business? (How do we build a business? What elements do we need to consider when building a budget? How can we turn our dream / talent into reality and make money from it?)
Workshop 4: Lemonade - Profit. Costs. Income. Selling price. (Where do I buy what I need? What selling price do I set? How much do I earn? What are the costs I can plan? How does the way I organize my income, expenses and implicitly profit influence me?)
What PARENTS will discover in the workshop:
How can I help kids grow into adults who make responsible and, why not, profitable financial decisions? Essential steps in children's financial education
What are the key words we should use / avoid when talking about money in the presence of little ones?
