Episode 3 – Follow your passion and dream
"If you love what you do, you will never work a single day in your life," said Confucius.
We, the KEN Academy team, believe that it is important to follow our dream and passion, and we want to instill this in our children.
If we are going to work for many years of our lives, at least let's do what we like and build projects with and from passion.
The simple sentence said by Steve Jobs, "people with passion can change the world", contains the secret of entrepreneurial success, and not only that.
"You have to discover what you like," said Steve Jobs. "The only way to make something great is to love it. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Do not give up."
When we start out in life, it is essential to have faith in ourselves and at the same time the belief that we will find a way to make our dream come true.
And for us, dear parents, what can be more wonderful than seeing our child happy, allowing him to be creative and fulfill his dream?
We invite you to watch the following video together:
Continue the discussion with your child to discover what his dream is. You can ask him the following questions:
- Why do you think it's important to follow your passion?
- do you have a dream Who is that?
- What happens if at some point the passion or dream you have is no longer valid?
Do you want these skills in your child too? First-hand experience helps.
- Accompany your child in building The Mind Map of your own Dream.
We have prepared a scheme to make it easier for you.
Invite him to color and add whatever elements he wants, and then you can paste the dream into his room.
You can also tell your child about people who followed their passion and brought major changes to humanity through their ideas (such as Steve Jobs).
The next episode appears on Tuesday, May 12, 2020.
